You enter a stone temple. The walls are crude and irregular, as if built by a person in a hurry, anxious to out run a pressing deadline. Set into the walls are 12 alcoves. 11 of the alcoves stand empty. In the others stand idols in various states of construction. Some, though unfinished, seem genuine attempts by the artist to render the gods as they understand them. Others have clearly been hastily torn from other temples and dropped unceremoniously into place.
